When working the Haslingden and Rawtenstall route, the conductor will be issued with two more sets of tickets one for each section and these must also be checked for accuracy and signed for in the Ticket Book. Should there be any discrepancies then the attention of the Clerk or Inspector must be brought to them before taking a car out into service. Conductors will not be allowed to commence duties if they are not in position of this float for giving change. 7. On completing a duty the conductor must fill in all the columns on both sides of the Way Bill, to make sure they are correctly added up, before paying in his cash to the Clerk. 8. All the cash contained in his bag must be counted out by a conductor. The Cash Clerk will then return the 5/- and sign for the money received with the Way Bill.
