The Great British R&B Festival 2025
MAIN VENUES THE FORT VALE LITTLE THEATRE ACOUSTIC STAGE
20:45 – 21:45: Félix Rabin Félix Rabin’s music
masterfully balances the flamboyant energy of a guitar hero with the deep introspection of a songwriter. His fragile, emotive voice delicately weaves through rich, layered instrumentation, building tension before unleashing powerful, fiery
solos. Drawing inspiration from artists like Gary Clark Jr. and John Mayer, Félix blends pop-rock with blues and infuses his sound with occasional funky rhythms. Rooted in the excess and spirit of 60s and 70s musical icons, his music reflects the contrast of a “good boy” persona and the intensity of an introverted loner. Beneath his calm exterior, an incandescent creative frenzy fuels his soulful, electrifying performances.
22:30 – 23:30: Kyla Brox Acoustic
Kyla Brox, award-winning singer-songwriter and daughter of blues legend Victor Brox, is hailed as “the finest female blues singer of her generation.” Winner of the UK Blues Challenge 2018 and European Blues Challenge 2019, she’s a leading figure in the UK blues scene. Known for her tender, gritty voice blending blues and soul, Kyla has grown from grassroots pub gigs to headlining major festivals worldwide, including here at the Great British Rhythm & Blues Festival last year. An independent artist with thousands of albums sold, she’s acclaimed as one of Britain’s best soul-blues vocalists.
Kyla headlines the Little Theatre on August 24th with an intimate acoustic set.
