We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone involved in the 2023 Great British R&B Festival! We are proud to be organising the festival once again this year and are thoroughly looking forward to enjoying a stellar line-up featuring the very best of blues music from across the UK, who will be performing in our two fantastic venues. The preparation and effort that goes into hosting one of the biggest and best Blues festivals in the UK is enormous, and we could not do it without a number of organisations and people. Firstly, we would like to thank our main partner Barnfield Construction , for once again supporting and sponsoring the festival. We also want to thank our incredible volunteers . Over the weekend we will see over 100 volunteers helping and supporting the event, and to each and every one of you, thank you. To our local businesses , we could not be more appreciative of how invested and engaged you are with the festival and we are looking forward to seeing thousands of people shopping local in our town over the August Bank Holiday weekend. The line-up for this year’s festival is incredibly exciting and we are proud to be welcoming the biggest and best blues artists on the UK scene right now to Colne. Colne Blues Society , thank you for all your hard work, dedication and unbelievable talent and knowledge which you have brought to the festival as artistic directors. To Scott Dawson Advertising , we thank you once again for marketing and promoting the festival far and wide. To our volunteer-run venues, Pendle Hippodrome and The Exchange Project Stage , thank you for hosting a spectacular weekend of top quality live music. We hope you all have a weekend to remember here in Colne and we look forward to seeing you all enjoying yourselves across the town throughout the weekend.
