1:00pm Spectacular war re-enactment to commemorate D-Day – to take place in the grounds of St James’ Church. 1:20pm Lone Piper from the world famous Accrington Pipe Band closes the war re-enactment.

The specially commissioned gold Coronation bus will be outside Accrington Market Hall, with visitors able to get on, take a look around and grab a panoramic picture from the top deck.

Children to receive a free Hershey bar and little parachute man , with the children invited to drop their parachute men from the top of the gold Coronation bus from 2pm (250 Hershey bars and 250 parachute men available on a fi rst come, fi rst served basis).

Cook Stars Rossendale and Blackburn are delighted to be able to o ff er three di ff erent cooking workshops, all suitable for children aged 3 - 11yrs. 11:15am - 11:55am - Syrian Falafel Sandwich | 12:15pm - 12:55pm - Asian Veggie Samosas 2:15pm - 2:55pm - Ukrainian Honey Babka All ingredients and equipment will be provided. *Numbers strictly limited to 15 per session.
