The livery of the trailer cars was predominantly red and cream, with gold lining on the red panels and brown lining on the cream panels. The roof sections were what were described as orange/brown in colour. They had lateral seating downstairs, which was on either side of a central gangway, whilst upstairs the seating was down the centre of the car. Smoking was only allowed on the upper deck, with drop opening windows to provide extra ventilation. Trailer cars 18 & 19 were obtained second hand from the Blackburn Steam Tramway Company , whilst 20 & 21 came from the Burnley system (ex-14 & 15), and were single deck saloons only. However, these Falcon bodies received upper decks from withdrawn Ashbury trailers. Along with the Milnes and Lancaster Carriage & Wagon Works cars these passed to Haslingden Corporation Tramways for further use. There exists photographic evidence that some of these second had cars operated as composites with their original liveries in combination with those sections of the original
