On the 8 th the Electricity & Tramways Committee met and the Tramway Manager submitted a sample ‘transparency’ of a warning notice which he suggested should be fixed in the tramcars in conjunction with the ‘Safety First’ movement, which had been adopted by many other authorities. It was resolved he could obtain 250 copies of this notice at the best available price.
