The Pendle Hippodrome once again takes centre stage as one of the festival's flagship venues, hosting 19 outstanding performances across the weekend. From acclaimed international artists to rising stars, there's an exceptional line-up in store, including headliners Dom Martin & Band, Ray Beadle and the legendary Walter Trout. The weekend concludes with a fitting finale on Sunday evening as the festival pays tribute to the late John Mayall, celebrating the life and legacy of one of British blues' true pioneers. 18:00 – 19:00 Ashley Sherlock Band The Ashley Sherlock Band gets the 2026 Great British Rhythm & Blues Festival underway on Friday 28th August, bringing its acclaimed blend of blues-rock to Colne. Hailing from Manchester, Ashley Sherlock is joined by bassist Nick Baxter and drummer Danny Rigg, forming a dynamic trio that's built a growing reputation for outstanding live performances. Following two well-received EPs, the band signed with renowned blues label Ruf Records before releasing their critically acclaimed debut album, Just A Name, in 2023. With rave reviews and a sound full of infectious hooks, they're the perfect act to kick off a memorable festival weekend. FRIDAY 28TH AUGUST
