Bringing the weekend to a thrilling close is Gerry McAvoy's Band of Friends , a heartfelt celebration of the late, great Rory Gallagher, on what is the 30th anniversary year of Rory’s passing. Formed by McAvoy - Gallagher’s bassist for 20 years - the band features original drummer Brendan O’Neill, guitar maestro Paul Rose, and FM’s Jim Kirkpatrick. Together, they channel the spirit and fire of Rory’s music with soul, precision, and raw blues power.
