14:15 – 15:15: Ashley Sherlock Manchester-based singer-songwriter Ashley Sherlock draws inspiration from Jeff Buckley, The Marcus King Band, Gary Clark Jr. and Chris Stapleton. Working with producer Kenneth Nixon, he recorded his Nashville-produced material, blending modern deep south sounds with his impressive vocal range and heartfelt songwriting. After years of performing hundreds of solo gigs, Ashley has honed a captivating acoustic set that showcases his gritty blues style and falsetto melodies. Known for his dynamic and soulful live performances, he has built a strong reputation on the UK blues scene, delivering powerful, intimate shows that highlight his talent and passion as a solo artist.
15:45 – 16:45: Ged Wilson Ged Wilson isn’t just a blues singer - he’s a “bluesifier,” blending his love of the arts, 1970s culture, and Northern roots into his new album Regular Man. Known on the British blues scene, Ged pushes genre boundaries with a contemporary feel shaped by influences like Lightnin’ Hopkins, Miles Davis, and Bob Dylan. Signed to Bad Monkey Records and supported by Help Musicians, he spreads his music globally. Armed with acoustic guitar, harmonica, and a big soul, Ged delivers intimate, upbeat shows filled with honesty, warmth, humour, and positive vibes. He’s making a mark from Chicago to Singapore.
