MAIN VENUES THE FORT VALE LITTLE THEATRE ACOUSTIC STAGE
20:45 – 21:45: Ben Catley Ben Catley delivers an electrifying live show, pouring passion into every performance with blistering acoustic riffs, over-the-neck playing, finger-tapping, and even singing into his guitar. With roots in blues, rock, folk, and atmospheric soundscapes, his dynamic style captivates audiences across Australia, New Zealand, and the UK. Fresh from Australia’s iconic BLUESFEST Byron Bay and supporting blues legend Walter Trout, Ben also features Wim Hof on recent tracks and had music licensed by Ford worldwide. His virtuosity and stage energy make him a standout solo act. “A tour de force of contemporary acoustic guitar styles. A virtuoso guitarist.” – Xpress Music.
22:30 – 23:30: Claude Bourbon Claude Bourbon’s guitar playing is a mesmerising fusion of styles, blending classical precision with blues, jazz, folk, and Spanish influences. From the Mississippi Delta to the Balkans, his music journeys through cultures, echoing the sounds of Paco de Lucia, J.S. Bach, Richie Blackmore, Joaquin Rodrigo, and JJ Cale. He transitions effortlessly from Spanish blues to Gypsy rhythms and Eastern European melodies, all with impeccable timing and technique. His command of the guitar is both refined and daring, creating rich, genre-defying soundscapes. Bourbon’s performances are a masterclass in six-string versatility - haunting, beautiful, and utterly unique. A true acoustic experience.
