20:30 – 21:30: Harris Rafferty Harris Rafferty, a singer-songwriter from northwest England, crafts evocative songs rooted in personal experience and observation. Growing up near the Pennines, he embraces his mantra, “No Gimmick Indie Rock,” blending soulful lyrics with raw indie energy. Harris has shared stages with artists like PP Arnold, Che Aimee Dorval, and Merry Hell, resonating with diverse audiences. Influenced by Sam Fender, Paolo Nutini,
and The Killers, he’s working on his debut EP. His single “Eighteen,” a reflective anthem about growing up, has been praised in the Lancashire music scene, marking him as a promising new voice in British indie.
22:00 – 23:00: Wadcutter Blues Wadcutter, formed in Huddersfield in 2022, delivers dancing blues with big sounds and joyful energy. The band features Ross Taylor (vocals), Martin Chung (guitar), Steven Beever (keys, tambourine), Andrew Beresford (bass) and Ben Wallbanks (drums). Members bring global touring experience with acts like Jah Wobble’s Invaders of the Heart and Kava Kava. Originating from previous funk and soul projects, Wadcutter has built a strong local following, playing venues and festivals across Yorkshire, including The Domino Club (Leeds) and Blues Bar (Harrogate). Their hometown show at The Picturedrome, Holmfirth, sold over 300 tickets, cementing their growing reputation.
