10:15pm The Andy Taylor Group The Andy Taylor Group are a young and electrifying trio hailing from the Orkney Islands in the north of Scotland. Critically acclaimed as one of the most exciting emerging blues talents in the UK by Blues Matters Magazine, the band has been captivating audiences the length and breadth of the UK and beyond at festivals and venues. Andy’s virtuoso guitar playing and irresistible husky self-penned tunes ooze the influence of Hendrix, Gallagher and Stevie Ray Vaughan. Prepare to be catapulted on an exciting musical journey which fears no limit or boundary. Andy is joined by a powerhouse rhythm section of childhood friends, Dylan Pepper (Slack Alice) on drums and Marcus Cordock (The Bay City Rollers) on bass. The trio

1:30pm The Big Bill Broonzy Story Big Bill Broonzy was a blues singer and guitarist whose musical career spanned the 1920s through to the 1950s. With his date of birth variously given as 1893 (by him) through to 1903 he is known as ‘the man who brought the blues to Britain.’ Big Bill captivated audiences wherever he performed. Big Bill sadly died of throat cancer in 1958. He was inducted into the Blues Hall of Fame in 1980. He is acclaimed as a major influence by so many prominent musicians and performers - John Lennon, Eric Clapton, Jerry Garcia through to Tom Jones. British Blues Hall of Famer Dave Speight has put together an amazing set highlighting some BBB finest moments. Definitely not to be missed.
