Nelson Town Council's King Charles III Coronation Celebration

On behalf of Nelson Town Council we would like to thank everyone for attending our sensational Coronation event in Nelson town centre. THANK YOU!

As you will all agree, it was a tremendously successful event and we couldn’t go without thanking all those involved for making it such a great event.

To Scott Dawson Advertising, we thank you for organising and hosting one of the most successful events this town has seen. We would also like to say a huge thank you to all the incredible acts and artists from our main stage including compere and Nasheed Artist, Hussnain Hanif, The Take That Experience, OdAll and Desi Nach.You really entertained us all!

Our procession was a fantastic way to kick start the event and we would like to thank the Town Cryer and the world famous Accrington Pipe Band for their starring roles.

To all our brilliant roaming street artists, entertainers and food vendors, thank you for your tremendous activities and delicious food – you really played your part in making this an event to remember. A thank you goes to all the school children of Nelson. We thank you for taking part in our crown colouring competition and for all your amazing designs. You all looked incredible and really produced a spectacle to remember!

And most of all, we would like to thank the good people in our community who turned up to celebrate our event.
