2. DESIGN Bed covering

On the bed itself, it’s all about texture and layering. You never want a bed to appear flat and hard. Invest in the best pillows or duvet you can afford that is plump and sumptuous. Stop at six pillows, any more can look vulgar and you have so much to throw on the floor when you go to bed. Flooring If you can afford it, buy a rug for your bedroom; even if you have a carpet. Not only is it nice to put your feet on it in the morning, but it cements your desired look and adds a cosy feel to the room. Get the right light Create so lighting – even if you don’t have a dimmer switch, with low voltage bulbs in your bedroom lamps. Luxury One fairly inexpensive way to inject some luxury into your bedroom is to wallpaper one wall, or to add a simple cushion to a chair. Adding several small touches of luxury is always beer than one big statement. It’s almost more calming to the eye.
