Delivered in partnership with The University of Newcastle, this future-focused sports analytics degree is designed for data-driven students with aspirations towards successful careers in sports business or performance analysis. Both of these growth areas require evidence-based decision making and research skills, which are fundamental learning outcomes of this degree. All GIS Sydney students will learn at the heart of Sydney’s business and sports districts with core teaching in The University of Newcastle’s Sydney campus supported by regular sessions at Allianz Stadium and Sydney Cricket Ground, both in Sydney’s central Moore Park region. MODULES The Master of Sports Analytics modules provide you with a unique opportunity to develop a senior sports business and performance analytics career: • Introduction to Sports Analytics • Sport Business Statistics and Analytics • Data Wrangling and Visualisation • Big Data • Digital Storytelling for Sport • Talent Identification and Recruitment • Applied Placement: Workplace Learning • New Media Analytics for Sports Business (Option) • Global Study Tour (Option) International students who must study a two year full-time program can study a combined Master of International Sports Business & Analytics which will cover all modules of the Master of International Sports Business and the Master of Sports Analytics.
