COLNE GRAND PRIX thank you

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Colne Grand Prix is a momentous occasion and on behalf of Colne Town Council, I would like to thank everyone who has been involved in his fantastic event over the years. It has become a key date in the calendar for people both locally and across Lancashire, and it has continued to grow and grow over the years. To be able to celebrate the 20th anniversary with the inclusion of a new race has been wonderful. We have so many keen young female cyclists in the local area and this will only inspire them even more. Over the years the Colne Grand Prix has also been a great opportunity to promote so many of our incredible local businesses, many of whom stay open late on the night, so our crowds can enjoy a drink and a bite to eat. All that is left for me to say is thank you. Thank you to all the organisers, volunteers, local businesses and sponsors who have continuously excelled to produce year in, year out, one of the most eagerly anticipated events in Lancashire.
