Our goal is for our apprentices to become the key individuals of the future of Fort Vale, so we continuously support around 30 apprentices through their practical and academic studies in dedicated apprentice training facilities. In addition we are also proud of the Wilson Fort Sports Centre at our Simonstone site, which once again highlights our dedication to promoting the health and wellbeing of our workforce

Colne Town Council are proud to have been selected by British Cycling to host the fourth race in the Men’s Elite, this is the 17th year that’s Colne has played host to this prestigious British Cycling event. World class cyclists from Elite British cycling teams battle it out on what is thought of as the fastest, toughest circuit in the UK series, here in the Capital of Pennine. The talented young riders will get the competitive line up going with the Youth Race sponsored by Coalition Facilities Management. Hot on their wheels are up and coming riders competing in the Riggs Autopack Sprint for Success before the Men’s Elite race sponsored by Fort Vale Engineering.

SAINT PIRAN

The Elite team has made quite an impact on the racing scene in the last four years, culminating in our first appearance alongside UCI teams in the Ovo Energy Tour Series in May 2019. Saint Piran finished as the highest placed Elite Team, and Team Leader Steve Lampier won the points jersey. While the Covid-19 pandemic wiped out the 2020 racing season, a lot of hard work has gone on behind the scenes and

2021 was bigger and better in every way. A strong roster of local and national riders mixes seasoned pros with up-and coming young talent, overseen by a highly experienced management team. Saint Piran will once again compete in more than 30 races, including the HSBC Road series , the HSBC National Circuit Series, the Tour Series and the National Road Championships as well as UCI races across Europe, including Tour of Britain.
