PLAYER VISITS

Player visits are a fantastic way for all Professional Footballers to give something back to their communities and put a smile on people’s faces. 2023 continued to see the Accrington Stanley first team players make appearances in the local community. Tommy Leigh and Jack Nolan visited soccer schools at Easter to take part in the session as well as answering questions from the children finally giving them an easter egg. Seamus Connelly continued to show his support to the community trust with his player appearances in local schools throughout the year. Lee Walsh, Head of Sport commented: ‘‘many people in the local community won’t get the opportunity to meet a professional footballer so having them attend our sessions is fantastic. The faces when they see them is priceless”
