10:15am The cake Winners from the special Hyndburn Borough Council 50th anniversary competition are revealed by TV and Net fl ix star Molly Robbins. 1ST PRIZE wins a family meal at 2ND PRIZE wins a 3RD PRIZE wins a voucher for 10:30am 1st Live Cooking Demonstration with our host for the day, Molly Robbins. 11:30am 2nd Live Cooking Demonstration with Michelin Star and TV chef Glynn Purnell. 9:55am The Mayor o ffi cially opens the 2024 Accrington Food & Drink Festival. 2:30pm 3rd Live Cooking Demonstration with Paul Fox from The Crafty Fox. CHURCH GROUNDS 10:30am | 11:00am | 12:30pm Live performance from 1940s singers Christopher and the Robins. 1:00pm Special war re-enactment to commemorate the 80th anniversary of D-Day including an appearance from a “Mad Piper” from Accrington Pipe Band – to take place in the grounds of St James’ Church. 1:20pm Lone piper from the world famous Accrington Pipe Band closes the war re-enactment. 3:00pm 4th Live Cooking Demonstration with Molly Robbins.
